Imported quarters are the walnut kernels we recommend for baklava and syrup pastries. They have a pale Light colour, a sweet taste and a piece size that grinds easily, at a lower price than Greek kernels. They come from Bulgaria, Ukraine, the USA or China, depending on the shipment available.

For prices call +30 2541 200 900 or email sales@carpebo.com. Orders are dispatched from Thessaloniki within 2 to 3 working days of confirmation, across Greece and, by arrangement, to other EU countries.

Store at up to 10 °C and up to 60% relative humidity, in closed cartons and away from light. In cold storage the kernels keep their pale colour longer, which shows in the finished pastry.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the carton 10 or 11 kg?
Carton weight varies with the supplier and the country of origin. We confirm it together with the price.
Are they suitable for baklava?
Yes, this is the grade we recommend for baklava. Quarters grind evenly and the pale colour gives a lighter filling.
