Hazelnut kernel sizes
Hazelnut kernels are graded by diameter in millimetres: 9/11, 11/13, 13/15 and 15+. Smaller sizes pay off for praline, hazelnut paste and ground uses. Larger sizes are preferred when the hazelnut shows whole, in chocolates, sweets and retail packs.
Raw or roasted?
Raw kernels let you control roasting and aroma. Roasted kernels are ready to use and save time, energy and oven space.
Prices and ordering
Turkey grows most of the world's hazelnuts, so its crop affects prices across the market. Size, processing and origin set the final price. Ask for a quote on +30 2541 200 900 or at sales@carpebo.com. The minimum order is one pack. Orders are dispatched from Thessaloniki within 2 to 3 working days of confirmation, across Greece and, by arrangement, to other EU countries.
