Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose?
For display and retail the larger No 1 to No 3 are preferred. For pastry and chopped apricots, the smaller No 4 to No 6 pay off.
Why are they golden and not brown?
The bright orange colour of dried apricots is usually preserved with sulphites, which are listed as an allergen. Apricots without sulphites are dark brown. Ask for the product sheet of each shipment.
